Since 1942, Freese & Gianelli Claim Service, Inc., has provided prompt, personal, and professional service in the multi-line claims adjusting field. Our clients include self-insured corporations, government entities, and innumerable insurance carriers. Field offices are conveniently located to meet each client’s needs.
Services
Over the years Freese & Gianelli expanded its services to include general liability Third Party Claims Administration for self-insured corporations and government entities. We blend highly-skilled Adjusters, Appraisers, Investigators, and Third Party Administration services to ensure cost-effective and complete claims administration.

A central dispatching system assures claims assignment ease and proper geographic distribution. Reporting and fee structures are customized depending upon needs and volume. We also offer monthly “Bulk Billing” options.

Casualty Losses

We provide a full range of casualty investigation and adjusting services from minor injury to wrongful death cases. Freese & Gianelli handles professional liability investigations including malpractice investigations for insurance carriers and national hospital chains. We have extensive experience managing workplace claims including wrongful termination cases and other types of work-related matters.

Property Losses

Freese & Gianelli is staffed and equipped to handle both small and large property losses. We provide detailed cost estimates, professional photographs, diagrams and inventory controls which include itemizations of business and personal property, equipment, fixtures and merchandise. Detailed bid examinations, subrogation investigations, when appropriate, and video-taped losses are also available.

Appraisal Services

From trucks to heavy machinery to automobiles, Freese & Gianelli provides comprehensive appraisal services. We are a proud member of the Independent Automotive Damage Appraisers Association (IADA), a prestigious national organization whose members must pass a stringent set of requirements. Our appraisal staff is also ICAR certified. All Appraisal information can be distributed either direct to your staff adjusters or to Freese & Gianelli adjusters assigned to the field investigation.

Freese & Gianelli provides the pinnacle of claims administration services for self-insured clients, both public and private. Our infrastructure allows for the establishment of customized programs including full claims services involving complete field investigations and sub rosa services, goodwill programs, on-going claims management and loss run reporting. Services can be bundled or unbundled to meet each client’s needs. Freese & Gianelli’s TPA services are approved by numerous excess carriers.

Freese & Gianelli recognizes that general liability claims adjusting desires vary widely from business to business. We work closely with our clients to develop programs which complement and assist in meeting each client’s own internal goals.

Interactive ongoing communications with Risk Managers and Safety/Training Managers assures proactive measures are taken to reduce claims and manage fraud. In-house training seminars empower our clients with knowledge as to how to properly secure useful claims information, witness information and evidence. Cost-containment strategies include special fee discount arrangements with defense attorneys, service vendors and PPOs. We also employ aggressive sub rosa techniques and maintain direct communication with the California Insurance Department Fraud Bureau and California Index Bureau.
