Status Bill Review maintains its own PPO Network for the benefit of our clients. The Status PPO Network provides discounts below fee schedule at our clients' most commonly used providers. Our in-house provider relations and contracting department makes sure we develop and maintain relationships with quality medical providers.

Status has also made a substantial investment in the main area of weakness in today’s marketplace: the further integration of bill review and utilization review services.

Utilization review is primarily notes-driven and bill review is primarily data-driven. Status integrates the two using powerful software and code-set algorithms to ensure that our clients see the benefit of the dollars saved through utilization review.

The Status PPO Network includes providers in the most frequently used workers’ compensation specialties throughout California: Occupational Medicine, Urgent Care, Physical Therapy, Orthopedics, Chiropractic, Acupuncture, Pain Management, and many more. Providers are carefully credentialed and updated regularly.

Discounts

The Status PPO Network offers an average savings of 15% below official medical fee schedule.

Flexibility

Status maintains an in-house contracting staff to serve our clients and responds quickly to requests to nominate providers or investigate quality/provider relations concerns. The Status PPO Network can serve as a primary or secondary network and can be customized on a per-client basis either geographically or on a per-provider basis.
